DBT Therapy.

Do you feel you’re constantly reacting to the current crisis? Do you struggle with intense feelings that push you into harmful behaviors? Do you have difficulty forming long-lasting mutually supportive relationships? Is there suffering in your life that you feel you can’t escape?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions or feel that your issue resonates with these conflicts then DBT therapy may be helpful for you. The course of DBT Therapy involves a year long commitment to both individual therapy and group therapy where we would go through a series of modules based on building mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. As an independant clinician I do not provide skills group therapy but I am more than happy to refer you to clinics that do that I trust.

CBT Therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a type of therapy that has been proven to be effective on a broad range of issues from anxiety and depression to schitzophrenia and PTSD. CBT therapy teaches us to identify negative or inaccurate thoughts and challenge/replace them with more positive thoughts that allow us to approach the problem with greater clarity and mental flexibility.
